Description
The Fortis Manufacturing Low Profile Gas Block is a stainless steel gas block built to work with today’s match grade barrels without marring the barrel surface during installation. It fits .750 gas block seats and uses two set screws with 0.470-inch spacing to attach to the barrel, and because of this, the screw spacing aligns with the precise hole patterns on match grade barrels designed to accept this type of mount. As a result, the Fortis low profile gas block gives match builders a clean, no-damage installation that leaves the barrel journal in the same condition it arrived.
In addition, the block ships with a roll pin and two set screws so you have everything you need to complete the installation right out of the box. Furthermore, the stainless steel construction gives the block a Silver finish that stands out on stainless or polished builds and holds up well to heat and corrosion over time. Moreover, the low profile shape clears free-float handguards so you can run any rail length without worrying about front end clearance. The 4140 steel set screws provide a tough, reliable hold on the barrel journal once torqued to spec.
