The Rugged Suppressors Universal Direct Thread Mount (DTM005) is a fixed mount designed for carbine and subgun platforms with fixed barrels. It replaces the booster system in the Obsidian 45/9, allowing the suppressor to mount directly to the barrel via M18×1.5 threading, with a 1.375×24 suppressor-side thread. Matte black finish.

Note: This Fixed Mount is NOT for use with a 3 Lug Mount or Fixed Barrel Spacer. It is a standalone mounting accessory that replaces the booster system in the Obsidian 45/9.

Specifications

The Universal Direct Thread Mount provides a threaded interface for attaching the Rugged Suppressors Obsidian suppressor to host firearms with barrels threaded to the specified pitch. The 1.375×24 outer thread on the mount interfaces with the Rugged Suppressors HUB mounting system, while the inner thread matches the host barrel’s muzzle thread — providing a solid, repeatable attachment without the need for a Nielsen device or booster for rifle hosts. Universal direct thread mounts are available in multiple inner thread pitches to match a wide range of host barrel threads — confirm that the inner thread pitch of the mount matches your barrel’s muzzle thread before ordering. The mount threads onto the barrel and is tightened against a crush washer or peel washer (as appropriate for the thread pitch) to time and index the mount correctly before the suppressor is attached. Once installed, the Rugged Suppressors Obsidian suppressor attaches directly to the 1.375×24 thread of the mount. The mount remains on the barrel while the suppressor is removed and reinstalled, providing a consistent return-to-zero attachment point for repeatable suppressor positioning on the host firearm.
