The Rugged Suppressors front cap is a user-serviceable end cap that threads onto the forward end of compatible Rugged Suppressors suppressors, sealing the front of the baffle stack and defining the exit aperture through which the projectile passes after traveling through the suppressor. Front caps are specific to the suppressor model and caliber — confirm the cap is compatible with your specific Rugged Suppressors model before ordering. The caliber designation on the front cap (5.56, 7.62, 9mm, or .45 ACP) indicates the maximum bullet diameter the cap’s aperture accommodates. Using a front cap with a smaller aperture than the host firearm’s caliber risks a baffle strike — a serious safety hazard — so always confirm the cap’s caliber rating meets or exceeds the host caliber.
