The Rugged Suppressors Fixed Mount (OF002) is designed for carbine and subgun platforms with fixed barrels. It is a standalone mounting accessory that replaces the booster system in the Obsidian 45/9, allowing the suppressor to thread directly onto a 1/2×36 fixed barrel. Matte black finish.

Note: The Fixed Mount is NOT for use with the 3 Lug Mount or Fixed Barrel Spacer.

Specifications

A fixed mount — also called a direct thread mount or thread adapter — threads directly onto the muzzle of the host firearm and remains on the barrel while the suppressor attaches to the other end of the mount. Fixed mounts for the Rugged Suppressors Obsidian 45 and Obsidian 9 provide a threaded interface between the host barrel and the suppressor’s mounting hub, allowing the suppressor to be threaded on and off the fixed mount for attachment and removal. Each fixed mount is machined to a specific thread pitch matching the host barrel’s muzzle threads — confirm your barrel’s thread pitch matches the mount before ordering, as thread pitches are not interchangeable. Common thread pitches include 1/2×28 for 9mm, .40 S&W, and .22 LR hosts; 9/16×24 for .40 S&W and some 9mm hosts; .578×28 for .45 ACP hosts; and 5/8×24 for larger caliber hosts. The fixed mount provides a solid, consistent attachment point and does not require a Nielsen device or piston assembly for use on rifle hosts. For pistol hosts with a reciprocating barrel, a Nielsen device piston assembly is required for reliable cycling.
