The PMAG 10 AR/M4 MOE is a 10-round 5.56  x 45 NATO (.223 Remington) AR15/M4 compatible magazine that offers a cost competitive upgrade from the aluminum USGI. It features an impact resistant polymer construction, easy to disassemble design with a flared floorplate for positive magazine extraction, resilient stainless steel spring for corrosion resistance, and an anti-tilt, self-lubricating follower for increased reliability.

The PMAG’s impact-resistant polymer body is self-lubricating and does not require the corrosion-prevention lubrication that steel or aluminum magazines need in wet or field conditions, reducing maintenance burden. The anti-tilt follower keeps the cartridge stack level and aligned with the feed path throughout the full capacity of the magazine, reducing nosedive feeding malfunctions common in lower-quality designs. Reinforced polymer feed lips maintain precise cartridge positioning at the top of the magazine where most feeding failures originate. An optional snap-on dust and impact cover protects the feed lips and follower when the magazine is not inserted. The 10-round version is used where magazine capacity is restricted by state law, competition rules, or hunting regulations — providing full PMAG reliability in a capacity-compliant format. The PMAG is compatible with any standard STANAG-specification AR-15 lower receiver magazine well.

The PMAG is manufactured from a proprietary high-performance polymer that provides excellent resistance to impact, temperature extremes, and the chemicals commonly used for firearms cleaning and maintenance. The translucent or opaque body color is integrated throughout the material rather than applied as a surface coating, providing consistent color without fading, chipping, or wear. The textured grip panels on the magazine body improve control during magazine changes under stress or while wearing gloves. The PMAG’s self-cleaning follower geometry reduces the contact surface area against the inside of the magazine tube, allowing debris to fall away rather than accumulating around the follower and causing feeding malfunctions.
