The HUXWRX Safety Co. Flash Hider-QD is designed to reduce flash when shooting unsuppressed. It features a quick-disconnect interface compatible with HX-QD and FLOW Series suppressors. 5/8×24 thread pitch for 6mm platforms. Adds 1.7 inches to barrel length.
Note: Larger caliber mounts are NOT compatible with smaller caliber suppressors. Smaller caliber mounts ARE compatible with larger caliber suppressors.

HUXWRX Safety Co. muzzle devices are the host-side mount for the HUXWRX quick-detach (QD) suppressor system. The 6mm flash hider installs on the threaded muzzle of a 6mm caliber host barrel and provides the fixed interface from which a compatible HUXWRX 6mm suppressor attaches and detaches rapidly without tools. In unsuppressed use, the flash hider functions as a standard muzzle flash reduction device, redirecting high-pressure propellant gases away from the shooter’s line of sight. The QD system allows the suppressor to be attached and locked in a single motion and removed just as quickly, enabling fast transitions between suppressed and unsuppressed configurations without thread engagement or additional tools. The 5/8×24 thread pitch on this model is less common than the 1/2×28 standard used for 5.56 NATO barrels, so confirming the exact muzzle thread specification of your 6mm host barrel before ordering is important. The 6mm bore diameter of this flash hider is specific to 6mm caliber host firearms and is not interchangeable with 5.56 or 7.62mm variants of the HUXWRX muzzle device lineup.
