The HUXWRX Safety Co. Flash Hider-QD is designed to mitigate flash when shooting unsuppressed. It features a quick-disconnect interface compatible with HX-QD 556k, 556, 762, 762 Ti, and Magnum Ti suppressors. 1/2×28 TPI thread pitch for 5.56 NATO and 223 Remington platforms.
Note: Larger caliber mounts are NOT compatible with smaller caliber suppressors. Smaller caliber mounts ARE compatible with larger caliber suppressors.

HUXWRX Safety Co. muzzle devices are designed as the host-side mount for the HUXWRX quick-detach (QD) suppressor system. The flash hider threads onto the host barrel’s muzzle and serves as the fixed attachment point from which a compatible HUXWRX suppressor attaches and detaches rapidly without tools. When no suppressor is in use, the flash hider functions as a standard muzzle flash reduction device, redirecting propellant gases away from the shooter’s line of sight and reducing the visible muzzle signature in low-light conditions. The QD engagement system allows the suppressor to be attached and locked in a single motion and detached just as quickly — a practical feature when transitioning between suppressed and unsuppressed configurations in the field or at the range. Thread pitch varies across HUXWRX flash hider models to accommodate different barrel threading standards used across domestic and international rifle platforms, including standard 1/2×28 for US AR-15 pattern rifles and metric threads for import firearms and foreign military specification rifles.
