CMC Triggers drop-in trigger modules are self-contained cassette assemblies that replace the standard mil-spec trigger group in AR-15 and AR-10 pattern lower receivers. The complete trigger, hammer, disconnector, and spring assembly is housed inside a single precision-machined aluminum housing that installs into the trigger pocket of any standard AR lower and is retained by the factory trigger and hammer pins — no permanent modifications or gunsmithing required. The drop-in design ensures consistent geometry and spring tension from unit to unit, eliminating the variability that comes with assembling individual mil-spec components. A straight trigger shoe presents a flat face to the fingertip, which many shooters prefer for a more consistent trigger finger placement and feel compared to a traditional curved bow. CMC drop-in triggers are compatible with mil-spec AR-15 lower receivers in 5.56 NATO and .223 as well as AR-10 pattern lowers chambered in .308 Winchester, covering most standard AR platform builds.
